Scott Weiland, who was best known as the lead singer of Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver, was found dead yesterday on his tour bus at age 48. His baritone voice was heard as he sang on STP’s biggest hits such as Creep, Interstate Love Song, and Sour Girl as well as VR’s singles including Fall To Pieces. Despite his issues with drugs over the years, Scott was still one of the finest performers in rock history since the Doors’ frontman Jim Morrison.
